Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I’ve been here on two separate occasions, and my boyfriend loves the food. I had only gotten ice cream last time. Though I got the same thing this time but how are you gonna charge me for cheesecake and there’s not a single crumb? Last time we went inside the restaurant to order to go this time I went by myself through drive-through. I’m like digging for it still, half way down, still nothing.

This Naperville location is still newish as of January 2024. Still smells like a new house when you walk. And with their service you can tell that they are eager to please 😊

If you have not been to Freddy’s before, the burgers here are a combination of what you find at Culvers and Steak ‘n Shake. Also a bit salty, which I like, but it’s an acquired taste.

Their prices I thought were a bit on the high side. The original double patty burger that you see in my picture is $6.99 just for the burger. A bit much I think.

Overall, I like Freddy’s. Give it a try if you haven’t 👍

This was our first try at newly opened Freddy's. California burger- mediocer, feels like everything is salty and melts in your mouth (not good feeling). Got two of these burgers and one literally had one little onion on it, few lettuce and one tomato.
Cheese fries- pretty good with cheese but by themselves feels salty and woody.
Cheese curds- one word i would use is "wet" no crispyness what so ever.

I've been waitingggg for this place to open up! EVERYTHING was on point. The California steak burger was juicy. The chicken sandwich was not too soft and not too crunchy. The tatter tots, chilly fries and the frozen turtle custard was the cherry to the top!! The employees were friendly and accommodating. Definitely be back soon!
