Al Chulo by Altiro Latin Fusion

One of my favorite places- tapas is a great way to try a variety of the yum-yums here. El Jamaicon beverage is fabulous!

We ate here for the first time last night and loved it. Everything was amazing! Food, service, and the refreshing drinks were the best. We got tacos and Sopes. The spiciest salsa they have I could drink it like water it was so good, lol. I wish I could remember our servers name to put his name on here to compliment him, but I forgot it :( We will be coming back for sure!

Took a very long time for our food to arrive. Honestly, I am probably not going to come back. We got tacos, my fiancé and I. Ordered two tacos and shared. It took about 45 mins for our food to arrive. We were on lunch, and I’m not sure what took so long. Very nice and pleasant inside, but we were the only ones there, and it still took so long for everything to come out.

This location of Al Chulo in West Chicago is hidden and tucked in. After finding out from a food blog that Al Chulo was VOTED TOP 10 FUSION RESTAURANTS IN ILLINOIS TAPAS STYLE DINNERS + CRAFT COCKTAILS, it was on my must-try list. We arrived at 520is for 530 reservation. The restaurant had 4 table occupied and by the time we left at 7 the restaurant was completely packed. We were surprised with the appetizer, and dinner The prices are right for high-quality Mexican food. A great variety of items both on the dinner menu as well as on the beverage page. Fabulous cocktails and freshly made. I highly recommend this place to anyone, hungry for a fusion Mexican meal. Check out the pictures associated with this review.

Love love love Al Chulo! My husband and I live nearby and went in on a whim one day and are so glad that we did. The service is excellent and the food is SO tasty. Both the food and the drinks are made with fresh ingredients. Nice atmosphere too, very chill. Would highly recommend for a date night or an adult group dinner
