Happy Dog West Chicago

Every thing you loved about a good old school Chicago hot dog joint but in the western suburbs. Terrific hot dogs obviously, burgers to die for, charred Polish, gyros, Italian beef and sausage and on and on. But the fries, whoa. Possibly the best fries I ever had. Good size portions (Wear your big boy/girl pants). and the owner Carlos is the best.

March 16 2019 12:00 pm we stopped by and grabbed 3 meals and headed home. The young lady behind the counter ran outside to make sure we had our fries. What other place does that? The food is always good and made fresh as your there. Happy Dog is a great place year round. Massive selection and they are more than willing to make to order.

This place is great for fast food. It's really a hidden gem in West Chicago. The service is fast and the food is great. It's s small shop, so you can't really eat inside but when the weather is nice there is outdoor seating. It's s perfect spot for dogs, burgers, shakes and fries. They also have breakfast sandwiches available and lots of good side items.

Classic hot dog stand. Excellent fries. The hot dog was excellent too.
