Portillo's Hot Dogs

This is the place for Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. They have healthy salad bar and fish sandwiches which are really good too. Try the chocolate cake.

Environment was pretty clean, friendly, and amusing/interesting. The bathrooms were pretty clean, condiment station was okay, and staff were very friendly. For a first timer, the order & pickup process could be a bit confusing because they have a lot going on visually however, once you figure it out, it isn't so bad.

You first walk into the dining area with a "party room" to your right. Straight ahead are two ordering statio with a salad pickup station the your right of that. Menus are right above the order station. After you order, they give you a receipt with your order number on it. Secure a table (because they were full) and proceed to the pickup station where your number will be called.

When you receive your order, your drinks will be placed on a tray with your order in bags (convenient if you need to take left overs home). There's also a station to the left of that where you can pick up online, catering and dessert orders. We ordered 1 regular small fry, a double cheese burger (not shown), a Italian beef (not shown), 4 PC chicken strips and a breaded croissant chicken sandwich, which was delicious - total was around $45 for the 4 of us.

We sat underneath the vehicle viduct/overhang/structure thingy because the children thought that would be fun. Will definitely return whenever we are in the area again.

Another fantastic experience at Portillo's - they never fail to disappoint. Like every other location their burgers and Italian beef sandwichs are delicious. Their french fries are one of my favorites, they're the perfect texture and size. Really cool old school atmosphere with a 1920s Ford inside.

I haven't been here in probably 3 years. I remember how good the food was and how good the service was but like I said that was years ago. So this weekend I was in town and my family and I decided to grab something to eat at Portillo's. Oh My Gosh, the food was even better than I remembered! The service was top notch and very quick. They even say cute little catchy phrases when your order is ready. Still 5 stars like I remember. I wish we had one where I live.

Excellent experience! Staff was nice and the food was outstanding. They were a little pricey, but well worth it for a special occasion. I had to wait about 10min for my food, and was given a piece of cake for the wait. Great guest recovery.
The restrooms were a bit dirty and could use some updates.
Maria who took my order was especially kind and made sure to ask for my ID when using my credit card.
Mary came up while I was eating to see if I needed anything. Very good touch.
Both ladies were wonderful.

If I didn’t live so far away, I’d definitely come again.
