ANJIR HALAL UZBEK CUISINE

We were a little nervous walking in but were immediately greeted with very friendly staff. The staff was very understanding and answered all of our questions. The food took a little to come out but it was truly worth it. Every plate is prepared fresh and not a single thing on the menu disappointed. Truly recommend if you want high quality food, friendly staff, and clean establishment.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. I ended up coming here twice during my 3 day visit to the Windy City.

Anjir Restaurant is an Uzbek halal restaurant. If you have never tried Uzbek food before, just Google it and head to Anjir to open a new cuisine for yourself.

Spacious, clean and artfully decorated venue. Very welcoming staff. Delicious food.

For soup, we ordered Lagman and Mastava.
For the main course, Samsa and Lamb chops. Beautiful presentation. Quick service.

Our table was attended by Ali and he did a great job. But other employees were super welcoming and friendly as well.

Tons of parking.

I will definitely come again.

A very tasty place for really cheap prices 😄 Portions are huge! Highly recommended!

This is the first time trying Uzbek cuisine and I was not disappointed.

Simple and clean flavors.

The Uzbek samsa was wildly different from an Indian samosas but we enjoyed it.

The dessert (honey cake) was the cherry on top for our wholesome meal.

Will definitely be back to try their other menu items.
