La France cafe & crepes

It is a cute Cafe in the middle of Lombard! The crepes are delicious and very generous portions! The lattes are delicious and served extremely hot which is nice because I feel that other restaurants serve lattes lukewarm and it gets cold very fast. However, like a true European Cafe, you will have long wait times. Almost every table was full when we visited Sunday morning, and for a period of time there was only one server before another server joined. So please plan that you will be in the restaurant enjoying your food longer than 30 minutes. Lastly, don't forget to order the beignets. It's a sweet end to a lovely meal at this restaurant.

First timers at this charming little Lombard cafe. Friendliest service and delicious coffee and beignet. Savory crepes were very disappointing, however-dry, and filling bland. A sauce might help. Friend said his crepe tasted like whole wheat; mine was overwhelmed with cinnamon. Other brunch diners seemed like neighborhood regulars and content. Might try again for sweet crepes or onion soup, just because atmosphere so pleasant and servers so nice.

First time we have visited this restaurant and we will be back The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the decor and the menu items. This was such a pleasant experience we can’t wait to go back again.

We came here with extended family and kids and all of us agreed that our meals were delicious and the management and service was pleasant and personable. As for me, the French Onion soup was absolutely amazing! We'll definitely be going back!

I’ve been coming here almost every weekend since I found this place. The staff are extremely personable, the Atmosphere is nice and relaxing and extremely family friendly. Most important of all, the food! I had the pleasure of meeting the Chef. Matt is passionate about the food he cooks And truly loves what he does. I have never had a poor experience and always love to frequent this family business. Highly recommended.
