Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai - Lombard

It's a good ramen place. Prices are not bad either. Since this is a new place it needed room for improvement. Although the staff are friendly and attentive . I love the bao it's very tasty and I think its my highlight for this restaurant. Ramen portion is satisfying and I love the fresh crunchy veggies they added as topping. Will surely be back to try for some more.

All the staff are very polite and helpful. And their ramen are super delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone out there looking for ramen place

I enjoyed my experience at their Hoffman Estates location while dining in. However, I suspect that this relatively new location at Lombard may have a few kinks to work out. I walked in to pick up my online order, and there were already 2 others ahead of me who were upset over the delay in their pick-up orders. My order ultimately took 1 hour and 20 minutes past their pickup time (a total of almost 2 hours past the initial order time). I think there may have been some confusion too because the workers needed to keep asking the people waiting what they had ordered again and again.

In the end though, the food was delicious! I’ll probably consider ordering from this location again after they work on their flow a little better.

Service was great. Food portion for noodles and the fried chicken was decent. I personally did not like the two ramen broths I tried. The flavor is different from more popular areas like Tokyo which makes sense. Was not worth the price tag for me.

We were so excited to try this place when we heard it is straight from Japan. It exceeded all my expectations! I’ve had many different Japanese fried chickens and ramen and this was by far the freshest I’ve ever had. You could tell that the noodles were fresh and every part of the dish was cooked to perfection. The fried chicken was the perfect amount of crisp and really was so juicy which is so hard to do with fried chicken! The bun was so tender and had such a great savory and sweet flavor to it. I would highly recommend checking out Kitakata whether you’re an avid Japanese cuisine eater or not!
