Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk

If you’re planning on coming here, I’d say wait a few months. The place is brand new and they’re still trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Hosts and managers are friendly, however, we were heavily disappointed by the service. For a place like this, you expect a little more. We had to wait over 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and later waited over 45 minutes for 2 simple pizzas. Plus she kept forgetting things we asked for. I also did not particularly enjoy having to cut my own pizza. I can understand the fun in it, but they don’t even show you how to do it. The pizza was really good, and the atmosphere was nice. We definitely would like to give this place another try, but not in the near future.

We went the second day that this place was officially open. We absolutely loved our entire experience! From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we were taken care of and treated with such kindness. Our server was Logan, and he was definitely excited to be there and was so helpful with helping us choose a few items from the menu. My fiance and I already decided to make this our go to spot. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. Also, you should definitely try their slushy wines!

We went the second day the restaurant was open. The pizza was good, the pasta was good. I was disappointed with the baby wedge. The braised onions weren’t working for that particular salad. The pizza was a little undercooked in the center. The outer crust was fine. I liked the sauce which was a little sweet for me although I ate the entire pizza. I liked that sparkling water was an option for diners. Overall I would give it 4 stars. Going back for sure.

What can I say about this place but if you like authentic Italian cuisine then Piccolo Buco is the place to go. Took my wife and daughter and we loved everything. Nicole C. was awesome. She knew we are Muslim and recommend some great dishes. The food arrived quickly and everything tasted out of this world. Highly recommend this place. Will be back.
