Gabby Goat American Pub & Grill

Food was fantastic. I was a little worried walking in for the first time and seeing how packed they were. I figured the service would be slow. Boy were we surprised. It only took 15 minutes to get a table. The waitress's did a fabulous job and the food took no time. American Rangoon appetizer was unbelievably good. Also had the horseshoe and it was great. My wife had the philly chicken and loved it. It won't be the last time we go.

We needed a spot to watch the US Open (golf) and were very happy we found this! The drinks are great and the apps (beef tips are the best anywhere!!!) were awesome enough to not order dinner...

I've eaten here twice and both dishes have been better than I expected. There's a reason why this place has such a good reputation in the community. It's definitely worth your time.

I'm in town working with my partner and decided on the gabby goat for lunch yesterday. We went back today for lunch and had a conversation with the owner/owners. They were very friendly and interesting, but not in a phony way. The food was good, the service was good, and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is also desirable. We will be back in town for work in a few weeks and will definitely be coming back.

Food was excellent, a superior list or wines and beers. I had the Effing "hamburger. Done to perfection and served promptly. The waitress was attentive and available for any needs.

Don't get to Effingham often, but when I am going through town my wife and I always stop. Highly recommended
