It was ok. Friendly staff. Basic food, nothing special and not alot of choices. A tiny bit pricey in my opinion. Overall cozy feeling.
First time at the Harvest Ale House and will definately go back again. The food was great, service was excellent, overall a great experience. I highly recommend the bone in pork chop, was cooked to perfection. Kudos to our waiter Brian, he was fun and did a wonderful job.
Lovely, lively atmosphere, but loud!!! Guitarist was awesome, providing Irish background music.Best baked potato and bacon ever! The beer selection is over the top. The only negative is that the beer was warm. All of us are not fans of warm ????! We know in Europe they do serve it at room temp so if that's the policy, tell us! We had a great time and service was good.
Been there twice now and enjoyed each visit. The food has been delicious, a good selection of draft beer, even offer a 'Flight' which is the way I usually fly. Will be back again
Took my kids and parents there for my birthday dinner this evening. It was a Tuesday and it didn't take long for the place to become lively. The menu is small, yet the selections well thought out. One doesn't get lost in what to choose. We had some nice appetizers to start. The items are unique and not what one might expect in a small town. Service was very good and accommodating. My daughter and mother split a plate. No problem for them. My son preferred a sandwich, and it's nice that they offer that. Our meals were all cooked just right and flavors galore. NY strip, Pork Chop and glazed Salmon. Yes, you can get it all in Paxton. My dad even commented on the good portion sizes. I know my father would also love a local craft beer, so he chose a Citrus Wheat. Very nice to know that many local ingredients are sourced, where possible. All in all a pleasant experience. The Harvest Ale house fits more than just a niche in this small town!!
