    This is a great little small town, home cooking restaurant, with a beautiful view of the spoon River dam, a very lovely little place to eat and have a relaxing visit.

    Nice place to eat. Friendly waitress. I ordered a salad. Each item of salad was placed in groups going around the rim of bowl. I could either mix in or eat separately or not at all. Also dressing was in separate container to add as little or as much as I desired. Looking forward to returning

    The staff is really great. They look out quite a bit for their local and regular customers. I am not always a fan of the food, it just depends on what that evenings special is, but I do have a few favorites., like the Pork and Beans with Cornbread, the Chicken fried Chicken, and the Open-Faced Pork Sandwich.
