    We liked our food. I guess you can say we got what we expected. It's kind of like a time capsule, looks, smells, tables, and cooks. The same as when I used to go 30+ years ago. Don't expect gourmet grub.... But it will be fun.

    It is exactly what you would expect from a small town diner. The food is good, cheap and homemade. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The skillets are great and their reuben sandwich is delicious. Very family friendly!

    We were in the mood for a Sunday drive. Took a pilgrimage from Naperville to Gardner. Their skillets are good. I found it strange that the biscuits are formed in a muffin tin. Sausage gravy was average. Friendly service. Overall a 4.5 star.
