Very clean place and best food I have ever eaten

Had a hankering for the classic filet-o-fish. McDonalds did not disappoint. Same fishy tartar sauce flavor on a steamed bun. I also had good fries and was pleased to be served by friendly staff. Not bad for fast food Friday.

I'm giving three stars for the freshness of the food and the one girl there who seems to really care about customer service. The burgers were cooked well, and the fries were just the right amount of crispy.

When we went this time, the wind was strong enough that they were having trouble hearing orders from the drive-thru boxes. That's perfectly understandable, although I think that McDonald's should do something to help them out with that. Illinois is windy!

The problem was how our order was initially processed. Half of it didn't make it to the screen, and the girl taking orders was very rude. Once we got to the payment window, the girl with a brown ponytail asked if there was more to our order, apologized, and fixed the whole mess with a positive attitude.

My wife & I's go to stop every couples of weeks commuting to Chicago. Quick & thorough orders, clean & right off I-55. Yes, it's just another McDonald's, but when you've made 350 mile commutes 50 or so times in 18 months, and pit stops unnecessarily delay your commute or places consistently mess up orders, you learn where not to go & where to go to stay on schedule.

Great food, excellent service and a good value, what else can we want. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the dining area was clean. Access in and out was easy, and parking was sufficient. Thanks and we’ll be back.
