Very good food and reasonable price. Very friendly, like family. Coconut cream pie, was delicious, the slice was big.

I can't speak highly enough about this diner. I live 1000 miles away but always spend a few weeks in Plymouth every fall for deer season. I make it a point to eat here at least once every day that I'm in town. Part of the reason is the food. They offer the standard greasy fried diner foods, but they also offer some made from scratch menu items that'll make you wanna slap your momma. Someone else mentioned the biscuits & gravy, and boy were they spot on. I live in the south and have never had that dish prepared as good as they make at KD's. My favorite order is a half order of B&G, half order of french toast, crispy bacon, and country fried steak smothered in gravy. That's a real man's breakfast! My favorite dinner is the homemade meatloaf. Oh my, if you want some comfort food, the meatloaf is the best I've ever eaten. Fried chicken that is breaded and fried to order....homemade pies & cookies....I could go on and on about the food and the generous portions. The other reason I love this place is the people. It's a real deal small town diner. The owner's, their families, and some wonderful local townsfolk are not only their to serve you with a smile, but they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. If things aren't too busy, they'll hang out with you and get to know you, share a few laughs, swap a few stories, and generally make you feel like family. The atmosphere, the down to earth kindness, and the authentic love & care that they show their customers is the part of the experience that can't be faked or duplicated by chain restaurants. I highly recommend that you stop by, grab a bite to eat, and get to know the folks at KD's coop. You'll not only be making a good choice for your tummy, but you'll likely make some new friends as well.
