The Market House Restaurant

Great experience, food, drinks, and staff. Never felt rushed even though we came in 30min before closing. Fully enjoyed their keoke coffee topped with an interesting whipped cream, and their mushroom sandwich. They have a dozen coffee liquor drink options.

Excellent eating experience, from walking in the door and being greeted by staff, seated and drink order taken immediately. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. There are very few places offering vegetarian / vegan choices but The Market House has a nice selection to choose from and the veggie burger is plant-based "Beyond Beef" burger that is fantastic!

This family-run restaurant adds a dash of charm to every dish. Featuring a nearly entirely homemade menu, Market House features comfort food staples in generous portions. Items are clearly listed as “fried” or “grilled,” giving the customer the opportunity to decide how healthy (or not) to make their meal. I ordered a grilled chicken breast sandwich, and while the bun was nothing to write home about, the chicken was juicy and fresh. I didn’t have an opportunity to try dessert, but the pies are homemade and incredibly enticing. The restaurant itself is a little dated, but it adds to the charm; this place has been around for several generations, and it appears to have stayed true to its roots.

Loved this place! My vegetarian parents had a page full of options to choose from. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and the food is not expensive. They had a small outdoor space to dine in. Loved the vibe of this place.

Food was good, the veggie burger was the beyond burger and it was delicious! I docked them one star because of service. Both ladies that came to our table were promoting the $7 drink special, and they wanted to card me before I even ordered a drink! I thought that was rude, so I didn’t order a drink.
