El Jefe - Leña y Mar

We heard a lot of great things about this place, decided to give it a try. Food was good. Overpriced in my opinion for the amount of food and taste overall. When we first walked in, we were greeted by a waitress. She was poorly dressed. Her white blouse was extremely wrinkled and stained. It didn’t look good. This was for lunch. The waitress we did have wasn’t very knowledgeable on the drink menu or food. I guess from all the reviews I saw on Facebook I had higher expectations of service for this place.

Drinks and food was DELISH! waiter not so good. Atmosphere was great. Furniture needs more attending too. Bench needs repairing and seating with the cushioning needs to cleaned after each guest.

This restaurant was beyond amazing! Drinks and food are to literally die for. The staff is so wonderful, the atmosphere is great! Best place to eat in aurora! Definitely coming back here!!!

My husband & I took his parents & my mom to El Jefe to celebrate my father in law's birthday. They love the place & the food, the interior was chic & instaworthy, but the outdoor seating area definitely needs more lighting tho. Food were delicious & within the price range for seafood, but damn those drinks were way too expensive & too much ice. Our waiter Emilio was very attentive & engaging throughout the dining experience. The food came out in a slower pace but it's Friday night after all, we will definitely go back but we also definitely will not order the alcoholic beverages.
