Riverview Diner

We had the Easter brunch and it was amazing. They have brunch every Sunday and I highly recommend it. The glazed ham is out of this world!

I usually love their liver and onions dinner. Would go there on Sunday evenings but made the mistake of having it for Sunday lunch. The liver was to well done and tough and the vegetables were overcooked and no flavor. The chicken rice soup was delish. My friend was with me and her liver dinner was the same way. So disappointed.

The food is great and plentiful. A mix of comfort food and some with a Mexican twist. Very reasonable as well. The restaurant provides a lovely view of the Fox River as it flows nearby. And the wait staff is fantastic.

The best variety in town. American, Mexican, Oriental you name it. The portions are fantastic and the staff is great. It is always clean there and it is the best place to go when the family all feels like different foods lol.

Want Mexican food? Italian? American? Greek? Great, because they have it all at Riverview! We took a party of about ten of us here for a dinner. Everyone seemed satisfied and definitely got plenty to eat. I'm not sure it is the place to go for healthy options, but if you need to feed a lot of people with varying tastes at a sit down restaurant, it is a good option. Food came out quickly with no mistakes and everything tasted good. The kitchen definitely knows where the salt shaker is at, so be aware before adding any extra. After we were done eating and had been sitting around for a while, a waiter came by and asked if we could free up the tables for another party. While that seemed a bit rude at first in terms of asking us to leave, we appreciated that if we were the party waiting, we would have wanted the same respect, so, in that it showed all around good customer service on a busy night, we were fine with it.
