Sammy's Mexican Grill and bar

We really enjoyed this place. Food was excellent. Room was spacious and relatively quiet. We we able to carry on a conversation at a normal decibel level.

The food and service weee good. Pricey Margarita with very little tequila in them. The beer I had after was stronger.

Amazing food and drinks, BUT... It is extremely LOUD. I've been here more times than I can count and it is awesome. But please do not take anyone here (like a first date, double date, etc.) that you'd like to have any good conversations with. They BLAST the music where you are literally yelling at the person across the small table from you. One time, I had the audacity to ask them to turn the music down and guess what they did? Turned it up even louder!! I wish they had it as more background music so I could give it 5 stars...

Great Mexican food! The dining room wait staff is always great, and the food is consistently delicious. Two areas of improvement: turn the music down... it is usually difficult to speak/hear someone sitting only a few feet away. Also, while the dining room staff are great to work with, the take-out staff often seem annoyed to be doing that part of the service. Overall, best steak tacos in the area - will always go there first for Mexican food.
