    Do yourself a favor and go to the Red Poppy Bistro! The food is excellent, portions very generous and I'm sure you will find a new favorite meal there. The people are so funny and friendly. They make you feel like family the moment you walk in. Coffee is also just simply amazing! I can't say enough about our experience. So happy to have found them. Enjoy!

    This is what Elgin has needed! Matt and his lovely family did it again. Everything he touches is a hit! Cannot wait until he reopens Legit Dogs.
    Poppy has the best quiche I ever had. Best pierogis I ever had. Best kielbasa and sauerkraut I ever had. Lattes should be 2x as much as they’re better then any high end coffee shop around. Portions are on the larger side. The one downsize, if any, wish it were bigger to rent out for parties. Yes, because it’s that cool and that good. We live in Crystal Lake and my family and I will make this a regular place to dine. It’s too good not too. Enjoy.

    stopped by for a quick side of meat pierogis and coffee, both very good. rest of the menu looked great, will be back.
