I loved the atmosphere, the coffee and the way to hold your virtual place in line. My friend and I went on a Sunday morning which probably had the longest wait I've ever heard of for a brunch place, especially in the Chicago suburbs. The food was good, but not as good as some places I've had. The service was subpar. I would come back for the vibes but I could make better food at home.
Yum Yum. I lover a good breakfast place and love even more a great breakfast place. This is great. It is my favorite. Everything I have had there has been delicious. They make a perfectly cooked omelette.
Great brunch and lunch menu. The breakfast potatoes are outstanding. Lots of different coffee drinks. Fresh squeezed OJ and mimosas.
This just became our new favorite breakfast/lunch place! The food was amazing! The service was wonderful! The atmosphere was fun! My only complaint would be...so many choices! I’ll have to come again, and again, and again!
We met a friend at Buttermilk on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Our friend tried to do the call ahead and it wasn't working so by the time she had us call ahead, our wait was going to be 30 minutes. There were 18 parties ahead of us, but it was amazing how fast the people were in and out. There are so many choices, but I decided on the Prime Rib Skillet with over easy eggs and a Signature Bloody Mary. The Blood Mary was amazing, but the Prime Rib skillet was the best breakfast I have ever had. It was full of potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, onions and the Prime Rib was cooked perfect at medium rare. There is a gravy glaze over it. Add the eggs and it was perfect. The others in our party also had amazing breakfast skillets too. They serve an awesome mixed berry jelly for the toast. We drove for 2 hours to eat at Buttermilk and guarantee if I lived closer, I would be there all the time. Can't wait to go back!!
