Firewater BBQ & Brew-Geneva

Great BBQ! The food here is excellent and the restaurant itself has an incredible atmosphere. I was excited that Geneva was bringing in another barbeque place and I'm glad I can say that Firewater does not disappoint. They've exceeded all expectations and I hope they're around for a long time.

Shared an early dinner with my daughter. She ordered beef tacos. I had the rib tips. Awesome meal! Firewater is clean, fresh with a great urban barbecue spot atmosphere. Team members know the menu and make great suggestions. Cook staff gets the job done. Plenty of options and very generous portions to appeal to any size appetite. Cozy and casual dining in Geneva, Illinois. Glad to have a really good barbecue restaurant option nearby.

Finally a good BBQ joint in Geneva. The ribs and pulled pork were very good. Try the Brisket pork -n- beans for a side, tasty. You cannot make reservation for a table. If they are busy, .plan on waiting about 20 minutes. Also, there was no one seating us, which I found a little troublesome. Overall, a good and fun place to eat BBQ.

Didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The pulled pork was excellent. The pulled chicken was a little on the dry side but still very good. Sausage was a little bland. The place was generally clean with the exception of the floor heading to the bathrooms. Being so close to the kitchen, I think grease was kind of building up on the floors because I almost fell rounding the corner to the restroom. It's more of a fast casual place rather than a sit down restaurant. The highchairs are clean and tables are clean too. The sauce bottles aren't sticky which is a nice surprise considering. A great place for family friendly and casual dining.

This place is very tasty! Had the pulled pork and smoked brisket. I personally liked the pork better but others in our party liked the brisket better. Pricing is pretty reasonable for what you get but not cheap. Decor looks nice as well. There was a good amount of people coming and going. Looked like a fair amount of take out happening.
