    Absolutely awesome food! I travel for my job all over the midwest and this place hands down is the BEST authentic Mexican food I've had in the whole midwest!

    I moved from Kankakee to South Texas a few years ago. I haven’t found a taqueria that I love as much as Isidro’s. If you’re in the Kankakee area or passing through, make it a point to stop by for some tamales.

    Don't be taking aback by the external appearance of this place. It has some really excellent Mexican food! That's coming from a born and raised southern California. If you know where to look, you can find these hidden gems of Mexican food throughout the Midwest. They have the real deal - Authentic Mexican Food.

    Best mexican food around. Love the food. Casual atmosphere. Could eat there 5 days a week. Service is great.

    This was my favorite restaurant to go to in college! Now that I've left, I have still yet to have a steak taco that lives up to the ones they serve here! Inexpensive and delicious food. They use quality ingredients and serve them at a lower price than I have seen anywhere else. This place is impossible to beat!
