Fox Bend Golf Course

Always a good test. The greens were really quick and a challenge. Pace was slower than normal but a full golf course on a beautiful day.

Reasonable price. Nice layout. Good greens. Friendly staff

Edit to the review below. Spoke to course manager, he was understanding and explained the situation without making excuses. We played another round and the course was as expected and in good shape. Thank you. Will go back when time permits.

Played early today to avoid the crowds only to deal with the army of grounds keepers on every hole, but worse yet was the tree cutting and branch chipping going on. When we made the tee time nothing was said about bringing hearing protection with us. It was extremely loud and the workers had absolutely no concern for the people who paid to play. The chipper and chain saws ran nonstop while we tried to putt and tee off, crazy. I've played here 3 times and disappointed every time, Oswego park district has no concern about anyone.

I'm a 20 handicapper. Course is very challenging. Nice layout, plenty of hazards to avoid. Greens roll firm and fast. Coolers still filled w ice water at 4pm.

Nice course, freshly mowed and the people running the course are very polite and attentive. I do not normally golf, but I came out to play footgolf, which is basically a soccer version of golf. Lots of fun! Felt a little weird because the people who owned the course followed us on every stroke. Probably because they wanted to help lead the way to each hole. Regardless, lots of fun and a good facility
