I enjoy going to this restaurant. Sometimes the employees are not as attentive to when somebody walks in, but once I'm greeted I always have great service.
Fresh bread, kinda small portion wise. I had a 6 inch combo and was surprised that I needed to ask for lettuce, pickle, mayo, tomato on a sandwich. The sandwich places I enjoyed in the Chicago area, you order a sandwich and the only thing they ask is if you want oil and vinegar on it, all the rest is standard. I thought it odd when i added jalapenos they asked 'was that it?'
Well, the service was fine. I'll be checking out the Italian Beef at some point, I'll remember to ask for it hot, sweet and dipped like that kinda sandwich should always come.
Omg the stuff potatoes r amazing. Take the time and find this place. You will not b let down
Re-review: a lot depends on who is working. Today it was 85 degrees inside. They were out of tea and refused to make more. Two employees were talking about being disgusted with the job and ready to go home. Very rude. Food was okay. There was cheese all over the outside of the containers.
Original review: Excellent baked potatoes. The sandwiches are huge. Try the pumpernickel bread; it is the best around.
Absolutely a hidden gem in this community. Found it by mistake as we were driving around the block to go to another location and saw the name. As we were in town, in part, rail fanning we decided to stop. One of the greatest decisions of the day. Amazing food quality and friendly staff. I had the grilled chicken breast, 8 yr old son had 2 full helpings of the largest, and by his view the best mac n cheese he had in a long time. There was an arcade area but we didn't venture into it as the sign said closed. Also serves a local branded sauce.
