Blarney Island

Been going there since I was a kid.
If you dont like the prices you cant go next door!

Great place to watch the boat races in the summer.

Definitely one of the best places to go between Lake and Cook County that is on the water. There's a bar at the pier then there's a ferry ride from the pier to the actual Island and there is two big bars on the island that the service is pretty decent at they do as best as they can with them out of people that they see. There's also boat parking which is really nice if you have a boat on the chain or if you're there just for the day. They also have many live bands on Friday and Saturday nights usually a great time I would highly recommend it to somebody that is not from the area or that has never been here. Usually to have a good time you can easily expect to drop anywhere between 80 to 140 for two. Enjoy!!

Fun place at a one of a kind venue but then only thing keeping this from 5 star was their strict policy on backpacks. None are allowed, which i found bizarre considering the length of time and needs ppl have when spending a day on the island. Other than that, the views, entertainment and experience was great.
