Tacos EL Norte In Round Lake Beach

Went there late evening and was met with friendly staff. They had a bunch of people already dining but they still had space. Their menu has a great selection for many people to find something good. I had the veggie quesadilla which came with some good toppings but for my taste it could have used more veggies. I felt they were just sprinkled on lightly. Their drinks of horchata and jamaica we're good and not overly sweet.

Excellent. I've been to most of the Tacos EL Norte locations and they're all good. I believe the different locations are owned by different members of the same family. The recipes and menus do vary from one to the other. The food and service here were great. The chips were especially good. Very crisp fresh and crunchy, not greasy, and were fried in clean oil. Like most Tacos El Nortes, the kitchen is clearly visible, so it's fun to watch the people make the food and you can see how clean things are. This is definitely an above average Mexican restaurant. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable! The customer service is also excellent. My favorite Mexican cuisine by far. :)

Best Burrito in town! Best service too.
It took me days to finish my super Burrito making it much more than just one meal.
The service was the best with very pleasant smiles and kind consideration. The atmosphere is very warm while not to overwhelming but enough to keep your eyes entertained. I've eaten here often and will be coming back for as long as the doors are open. Have a cold beer and a warm smile.

Very good, inexpensive food. Fairly extensive menu. Attentive, friendly staff. Loved the call button at our booth; great idea! Three adults and one child - $42. Recommended.
