Studio Hotrods Roadhouse

We went to hear a certain musician (Olivia Love) and that was great to begin with. We loved the hot rod atmosphere and the food was great! So were the drinks. The owner was there making sure everyone was happy. Definitely going back. We were there in February but look forward to boating over during the summer, as the restaurant has many of it's own slips.

Wow, the sandwiches we had were amazing! The atmosphere is tops, and the staff were fantastic. Now, here's what kept it from the 5 star I wanted to give. It's expensive. I mean really expensive. Not just out of the Fox Lake norm, but higher than downtown Chicago. $10.00 for a glass of house wine? All the food is freshly made, some from scratch, so even though it's pricey, I can accept spending top dollar for good food, even it was just a place to treat ourselves on occasion. But for as much as we enjoyed it, we probably won't be back based on the prices.

First time there and we live locally. Owner and staff are nice and so is the atmosphere. We had three beers and split a beef & sausage sandwich with fries, Cole slaw and the cell phone discount. The food was a little salty and pricey. Three beers and a sandwich over $50.00. Bye, Bye...

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised at how awesome the deep dish pizza was! I highly recommend it. Our Bartenders were really friendly and served us with a warm smile. You could tell they were happy to be there working and serving their customers. The Owner welcomed us and introduced himself as well. Its not very often we go to a restaurant and all the staff is so friendly. We will definitely be back! Looking forward to summer with their huge rooftop overlooking the lake! Beautiful place! I wish them success in this location.

Opening night tried deep dish pizza. It was really good. Ingredients were fresh made from scratch not fast food. Family friendly. The staff were great! Everyone greeted us and made sure we were well taken care of. Our server couldn't have been better she was very friendly and attentive. Live music was playing. Owner is a fantastic friendly guy and we even got to meet the chef. Fox lake needs a place like this. Can't wait to try other menu options. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled fantastic! Best of luck to studio hotrods Roadhouse!
