Average experience. We were seated on the back patio near the fireplace. It was still kinda chilly but comfortable. We ordered appetizers to begin with, the goat cheese and the steak tartare. Both were outstanding! For dinner, we ordered the halibut which was good but came out on the cooler side and also the Amish chicken which was lacking any flavor. I wish they expanded their menu because they only have 4 main courses. They should also hire more servers because waiting on drinks took forever and our waitress looked overwhelmed and tired.
This spot is good! Convenient pricing, big dishes and the staff are regularly super friendly.
Food was good and waitress was good. However, the hostess needs training on table and time management. We waited one hour and forty minutes because she was not trained. And if there are two 2 people tables available, you can set them up so you can sit four and not keep telling us to wait for a 4 people table.
We went for dinner and shared plates. Everything was so good, we went back for brunch the next morning. Peter the bartender and our server Jackie made the experience extraordinary. Prepare to dazzled.
Three times I have enjoyed the Sunday Brunch, and it is time for a review. Garage door up in fall and summer is when the gorgeous setting intersects with the top-flight, shareable dishes. So far, Milwalky Trace has done no wrong, offering up winning courses like the Alsatian Scramble, Shrimp and Grits, and Lox and Bagel spread. Make sure to pair your cuisine with the Bloody Mary and beer back or any of the fine offerings from the knowledgeable, friendly barkeep.
