Interior nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Cash not accepted and mandatory 15% "service charge" added to every bill. I don't patronize establishments that deny my freedom of choice. Won't be back.

Have visited The Parched Pug twice since it’s opened and have loved it each time. Their beer wall is fun and the only one of its kind in town. Their game nights are also great - we came for bingo and it was a blast. We now plan to come every Tuesday! Also - try the nachos. They’re incredible with the short rib!! Highly recommend.

This is by far the most unique restaurant in Lake County! It's a quadruple threat of delicious fresh food, a versatile coffee bar, a wonderful self-service beer & wine wall, and a very well-rounded selection of board games - great options for both novice and experienced players alike. The place has Gloomhaven for heaven's sake! (If you know, you know). My partner and I just came back from Gen Con and this was the perfect spot for us to grab some delicious food & play some games.
A very mindful place in terms of how they pay their employees, too.
Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends!

A very unique and awesome experience. As you walk in on the right is a large gaming wall filled with 100 or so of the best board games available. Past that is a giant coffee bar, in the other direction is a beer and wine wall. The food is great, it's a no tipping establishment as the staff is all paid a real wage. Me and my wife came in, grabbed a drink, started playing a game and ordered our food. Everything was awesome and I can't wait to go again.

My husband and I just stopped in here after seeing the adorable sign and saw it was opening day! Right away when we walked in everyone was very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the pour your own beer tap with a nice variety. The menu was limited due to it being opening day, but what we had was delicious. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and already wants to go back here to get it again! I got the turkey burger and it was so flavorful and juicy with super fresh avocado and tomato. The fries were amazing too! We are very excited to come back and bring some friends along with us next time. Definitely recommend!
