This is a gem. Started with yesterday’s soup which was pear and gruyere(??) from the first taste I was in heaven. The grilled octopus was equally wonderful.

Great, high-end restaurant. Food is very unique and absolutely delicious. The Pork Rice Bowl was incredible. Great drinks list as well. Plenty of parking across the street. Service was incredible. Not a huge place, so you may have to wait for seating, but it's worth it. It's expensive, but totally worth it. Enjoy!

I recommend everyone to try everything once in life. Abigail’s is one of the places that does not disappoint at all. They have excellent professional service, great tasting food, great wine selection, and a warm comforting ambience. I had the shrimp salad. I’ve never had shrimp salad before, it was a bit adventurous for me to try, but the description on the menu was too intriguing to pass up. I never would have expected this, but it was the best salad I’ve ever had. It doesn’t matter if you are meeting a friend for a somewhat casual lunch, or a loved one for dinner, Abigail’s will make you a return customer. Abigail’s is the Ravinia of Restaurants: the experience will be enjoyable for everyone no matter what you go there to enjoy.

Been coming here since it opened 10+ years ago and it never disappoints.

Never had an item I didn't love.
One of the best burgers on the north shore.
Great wine and cocktail selection (not huge but well curated)
Doesn't break the bank for what you get.

Atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and attentive.

    Chef Michael really kills it.

Hands down, the best dining experience in Chicago's North Shore area. The quality of food and service is outstanding. Their creative menu is seasonally updated and they have a killer cocktail list. Having dined at many top places in Chicago (Alinea, Roisters, Girl and the Goat, etc.) I'd pick Abigail's as my choice if I had to choose only one. The decor is a bit staid but the energy level is always lit. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations after 5:45 so there's often a long wait for a table.
