This place is really great!!
Definitely the best place to eat in the area. I ate the best french pastries I've ever ate in all the US.
Decoration is also part of the charm.
Congrats!
This is a HUGE deal. For those of us who have been to Europe , Israel, anywhere outside the US, we finally can have European breakfast and right here in Highland Park. For the first time in years, I had for breakfast a fresh salad, incredible scrambled eggs (the real kind, not the out of a box-greasy diner kind) and a piece of bread to die for. My husband had a freshly baked croissant that had cream and chocolate. Everything as far as I know is baked on the premises. The restaurant literally is like being in Europe. Fresh bread, croissants, salad, eggs, more..this place is a GEM. I cannot think of a single restaurant where I can order a breakfast like the one I got this morning. We also purchased 2 baguettes and brought them home. Oh the place was packed . Amazing.
WOW!???? I'M GLAD WE STUMBLED ACCROS THIS PLACE. SALMON QUICHE IS SOMETHING OUT OF THIS WORLD! DESERTS ARE SUPER DELICIOUS AND NOT TOO SWEET (EXACTLY WHAT I LIKE). DO YOU GUYS HAVE A MEMBERSHIP THAT I COULD SIGN UP FOR?????????????
GOOD JOB! WILL BE COMING HERE A LOT!
I've only been there one time, so I can't speak on everything they offer, but what I had (ham and cheese croissant and a coffee) was fantastic. The croissant, which came with a salad, was perfectly flaky and light and was really just wonderful.
Everyone who was working was very pleasant, and the layout and decor of the place was really inviting.
Big fan of our new Highland Park patisserie. The weekend lunch hours get pretty busy but a table always seems to open up just as we are ready to find a seat. You order at the counter off the chalkboard menu, pay at the register, grab some cutlery and take a number to a table so the staff can find you with the order. Quick enough, your lattes appear if you don't already have them and then your food. Always with a smile. So far the food has been everything we hoped it would be. Fresh. French. Amazing. Love the veggie quiche.
