    Had a chance to try some dishes during soft open a few weeks ago, outstanding dishes as usual, based on owners previous restaurant in HP.

    This was the second Sushi restaurant i visited while in town on business. The first unnamed restaurant had hundreds of well deserved reviews, but this place was far superior. I had the Fire Tuna roll and the Sashimi sampler and they were AMAZING!! The young man at the Sushi bar (owners son) was very talented and had an obvious passion for what he was doing. This will be a regular stop whenever i am back in town. Thank You for a great experience.

    When we first got there the service was so bad we almost walked out. Fortunately another server stepped in and things went smoothly from there on. Nice selection of specialty rolls all very well done. Need to go back again and explore more of the menu.

    What a great restaurant! The owners, Nami and Joe, are first class restaurateurs. Having a master chef who actually prepares the dishes makes Kuro Bistro a real stand-out. The food is so fresh and flavorful, the presentation beautiful, the service is attentive and friendly. Even the desserts are amazing. I highly recommend Kuro Bistro!

    Easily the go-to place in the north shore for Japanese. Hands-down.
    Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, and great food... whether its ridiculously fresh fish or tasty entreé's prepared in the kitchen... just too yummy! I will be a regular!
