Nice place to go eat it has good food when I went there I had a burger i highly recommend you get that the fries are great you also should try the hot dogs I highly recommend those to so you should really check of the place you will get good quality food you get what you pay for and it a really great place to go to I also recommend the gyros those are really good you should check those out also the soup is really good to and last but night least the drinks are good so head over to five points to have a delicious mean I highly recommend you go here
I've been going to this establishment since the 90's and they are a solid staple in the Great Lakes Naval Station area. Sure, fast food chains are just north, but if you're craving an authentic burger, Chicago style hot dog, a gyros, or broasted chicken and you're in the area, this is the place to go. Or if you want something sweet, get yourself a slushie or a dipped ice cream here.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is really good and not inexpensive at all. They have all kinds of combos, even on where kids get ice cream with their meal. It seemed like all the locals knew about it, but when I go back to visit Great Lakes, I definitely be returning!
I think 5 Points makes the best Italian beef, and I've tried beefs everywhere around here. Get it dry with gravy on the side, pour it on as you go (dipped is awesome, but it makes it a huge mess to eat)
The gyros are great, and huge.
The polish is worth another trip, and so is an Italian sausage. Sundays is a Chicago dog and fries for under $3, and it is about as close to a perfect Chicago dog as you can get.
