Buffalo Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor

Stopped in for lunch. Got the cream of chicken soup- it was incredibly bland. The village salad was good, but the dressing tasted like some cheap kraft dressing. Our server was a bit slow. Didn't get a chance to try a dessert, but they had a good selection.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice now for dinner and we love it. It's very close to where we live and the service is great. It's also open really late, which is nice. Both times we've been here we have had the best waitress. A sweet little old lady named Kathy. We love her so much and she is just the sweetest woman. Can't wait to go back and see her!

Great brunch at great price. Service was excellent. Orders of oatmeal were not hot so waitress quickly brought new bowls of cereal hot from kitchen. Loved their chocolate chip crepes!

Servers, quality of food and prices are excellent but the hosts/cashier's are not.
I'm not sure if the people at the register are relatives or are the owners, they act as though only certain people, presumably personal friends, will receive any attention when being seated. When I arrived the place was not that busy and there was no one at the front desk for 5 min. Then when the person finally showed up, they screwed around with paperwork for another 3 min. then when another desk person showed up they chatted for another couple of minutes, still ignored us. Then when another couple came in after we arrived, the host was going to seat them before us, he even had to walk around me to seat them before us, rude!
The Buffalo has been around a long time and hopefully will continue to get better now that the previous owners are back. I hope they get a clue and train the people at the front desk to pay attention to what is important; hungry customers will not tolerate being ignored for no damn good reason.
These negative comments are in no way a reflection of the excellent service by the wait staff or the quality of the food that we received.
First impressions at the desk need attention, be forewarned that you may be ignored for a while when you arrive, good luck!
