Awesome little spot in downtown waucada. I live the all Irish atmosphere and the clovers in the Guinness stout. Authentic Irish fare around the holidays and an awesome drink selection. I would absolutely recommend you stopping by for either the corned beef and cabbage or Shepard's pie. Absolutely delicious!

Excellent service! Excellent food! Special limited menu for St.Patricks Day. Super corn beef and cabbage, also Shepherds pie! Only thing I missed not being able to order the beer cheese soup, good reason to go back soon!

The food is excellent and the restaurant itself is even better. I grew up in the PA/DE/MD area and miss the 1700-1800s era homes, restaurants, etc. That familiar history is found here.

Now back to the crab meat. It is HARD to find meat out here that tastes even close to what is found in the Chesapeake and prepared by the docks. I had the salmon risotto, stuffed with crab, and I was not disappointed. Most of the restaurants I visit out here do not know how to prepare crab unless they are looking to serve a mere vessel for butter. Middleton’s not only understands how to prepare crab meat but knows how it needs to be tasted (without butter!). One bite and I am back on the Sassafras. Oh, the risotto quality and salmon flavor deserve to be mentioned... I just can’t get over the crab.

This place is about 40 minutes from home, I will not get anything else when I have the chance to come out. Though, all my friends tend to clean their plates.

This is a great spot to go and grab a drink on a Friday or Saturday night. I havent been here for dinner but I have ordered snacks at the bar and they are always good. The bartenders are super cool too and after only one or two visits the bartender knew us by name and made us feel very welcome.
