????????????✔️✔️I always go for the Greek salads and the lemon rice soup. but I love the breakfast and their coffee is not some sort of weak dishwater, it actually has a very good strong flavor. Everyone there is friendly and they make sure you have what you order and a goodly amount of what you order. The owners also own Leno's sandwich shop, and you know how good Leno's is, the best sandwich shop in the entire area.✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️

Hubs lived in Waukegan for a while before he moved and he always raved about Peacock. Me?? I love the service. I love they recognize my hubs and now us, but the food... There is nothing spectacular nor flavourful about it. Maybe because its a diner style deal that caters to older palates but there is nothing stand out. Its great if you want to go out and not cook (but you could make it better at home) but its a grandma/grandpa place to eat... Never had a bland omlet that didn't even taste like eggs but there's a first for everything... The service makes up for the food but only a little. I did come there to eat after all. Kiddo loves the hot chocolate and s/o to them for refilling it with whip cream for him but yeah....

Great local diner, very friendly and great food & coffee. We are here for Navy Graduation so for any out of towner’s like us...this is a good choice...not fancy, but good! When we saw the local construction worker trucks in the lot, we figured we should give it a shot and we were not disappointed : )
