Castro's Tex-Mex Grill

I’m from Texas and know great Tex-Mex. Castro’s is easily one of my favorites after sampling some of their dishes! Food is on par with the best in Texas!! Looks like a tremendous atmosphere and a great place to watch a game! Very excited for the rooftop patio to be open as well!!

There are a lot of nasty rumors and misunderstandings going around about this restaurant and its owner. Of course mistakes will be made in a 22 year old’s first business venture. I think everyone should give Castro the benefit of the doubt. Meet him before you judge his character. Try his (very delicious) food before you judge his restaurant.

Everything about this place is great! The tacos are some of the best tacos that I have ever had. The dessert is just as good as well. I highly recommend that everyone tries this place out.

I was recently able to sample some of the food that will be offered at Castro’s and I was not disappointed!! The steak taco rates at the top of my all time favorites!! I can’t wait for the place to open. We also were also given a tour of the restaurant . I love the atmosphere . There is a beautiful bar, great seating, TVs on all the walls - something for everyone. The owner also plans to expand the roof area giving Decatur rooftop seating. Who wouldn’t love that? Decatur needs more dining opportunities. The owner and staff were all friendly, polite, and accommodating My recommendation is to go see it for yourself when it opens. Let’s support new businesses !
