Panera was one of my favorite restaurants, but no longer. I'm not sure what has happened, but there has been a real decline over the last year. On each of my last few visits, there has been a problem. This time, no egg for the Spinach Salad. That's not as bad as the visit when they didn't have strawberries for the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. At least this time they informed me when I ordered it.
They've just remodeled and everything looks bright, open, and new. Unfortunately, the carpet needed to be swept. There were potato chips under our booth and I noticed other areas had similar problems. It was pretty empty and it seems as though someone could have tended to that. The rest of the place looked pretty clean.
The food was good, but the portion size has shrunk once more. For the price of our meal, we could have gone to a sit-down restaurant, been waited on, and not been expected to bus our tables like a high school cafeteria.
The Chipotle Chicken Sandwich is good. The staff is fast and the store is always clean. I think more variety is needed. For example, jalapenos would make just about anything on the menu better.
This place have been here for a long time and has remained a very nice place for a meeting or to grab some coffee or lunch. The restaurant is clean and bright. Bathrooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and happy to serve.
Brilliant service at the counter. Excellent food, one of the best restaurants in the city. Food is prepared well, both visually and in standards of taste. I would recommend this to anyone who asked me if they should visit this restaurant. 5 stars.
I have always had good service at this location and would give it five stars but they changed their cooking methods. They no longer have sandwich presses, they have these steam ovens which in my opinion cooks the bread too much and dries out the meat because it sit in the oven opened up. I ordered a Cuban which is supposed to be a pressed sandwich, like many of their other sandwiches they need to be cooked in a sandwich press not some stupid oven. Now I also want to say that the sandwich was okay just not what it should be. This won't stop me from going back but hopefully they will go back to the old cooking methods.
