(August 11, 2019, 7:27 pm)Great burgers. Like going back in time to a quaint country town. I'll be back for sure. Breakfasts looked fantastic as others were getting those. I'll be back to try the biscuits and gravy next. Thanks to Debbie Mullins, a regular, for suggesting we go there.

(June 9, 2019, 10:00 pm)Really cozy and relaxing restaurant. Great food with hard working cooks and wait staff they really make you feel welcome. Serves delicious breakfast all day as well which I love also.

(May 26, 2019, 1:34 pm)Not gonna lie, I was pretty excited to see an old road trip favorite right next to our motel. I probably haven't eaten at a Hen House in about 35 years.
The food is not the best I have had on the road, but it was pretty tasty.
I can recommend the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and the mac 'n' cheese. The jello was a little watery and had a bit of an odd flavor to it.
However, I would return to try some of the other offerings on the menu, on fact, we will most likely return for breakfast. -
