Worth the trip
Both of our dishes were unique in presentation and taste. Flavorful, but not heavy or too rich, we were both very satisfied with our choices.

The staff is really nice and friendly! Take out food has been decent the two times I've gotten it! However, the buffet is really dry and unflavored. The plates are also not cleaned very well and appear dirty.

I've seen these guys in 3 locations now and this is definitely the best one. Great sit-down Indian cuisine. I know it's sacrilege to talk about Indian food in Edwardsville that's not Mr.Curry, but Taj has carved it's own niche in the sit-down restaurant. While Mr. Curry is still the best takeout and lunch buffet, Taj is great for a date night.

My wife and I dropped in the other day for a lunch date. The buffet was going so we decided to give that a try. Everything I tried was really tasty and the buffet was a great way to try multiple different foods without knowing exactly what we would like best. We each had a couple plates and left very full and very happy. Great lunch spot - we'll be back!
