“I am in love with this cafe. Well done. Located at the Salem Business Center South, it had automatic doors as if it were once a grocery store. Upon inquiry I learned it was indeed once a grocery store, possibly Sharps Foods. It has been a restaurant for 23 years. It's reasonably priced. Very reasonably priced. The biscuits and gravy were magnificent. The coffee was good. The service was lightning quick. The food arrived in mere minutes. The staff were so very very friendly. Delighted I decree. This cafe was a delightful delight. Nothing but a delighted happy joyful experience. If around Salem, Illinois, check it out. You'll be glad you did.”

“4/20/19: The biscuits and gravy were as good as usual, and the staff *who were there* were very pleasant and helpful; HOWEVER, three people working during the late breakfast rush were NOT enough. The coffee was empty and it took longer than I've ever seen to get our food. :-( 2017: I love it that the "big breakfast" now has biscuits and gravy instead of pancakes! My dad always had coffee here in the mornings after he retired, so I always try to have breakfast here at least once when I'm in town.”

“Great place to eat and nostalgic for many locals. Great food, a little higher priced than when Randy owned the business. Kids menu is seriously lacking options. Watched them last week run off a lady in need for sitting in a chair outside, i gave her money and she went on her way. Few minutes later the police showed up to most likely help and hopefully not harm this fragile lady. That made me lose much respect and business. I've been writing most new agency's with the story. I even have video of her and audio of the staff.”
