I was on a bicycle tour for several days and stopped here for a late breakfast and to recover for awhile from the heat and humidity. The staff were very friendly, the food was very good, just what I needed. I would recommend the Sunrise Restaurant to anyone who needs a good meal served by kind and attentive staff.
Good food. Good service. Exactly what one would expect when you stop in the rural area. If you're looking for a more upscale meal and atmosphere, (without the upscale price) be sure to check out Bulls Head on 251 near Lostant (next exit north on 39 then east to 251)
Really good food, good portions, and very wallet friendly. My wife and I both liked the walleye. It came with soup, salad, and a side for only $8.
It was very clean inside also. We were skeptical when we pulled up because the parking lot was nearly empty. But it was worth the risk.
Only complaint was that the mashed potatoes were instant. The American fries are a much better choice.
