Iron Horse Bar & Grill

Great food, love the Pretzel Board, Tacos and other unique items!! Now has more seating!! TVs for sports.

I was pleasantly surprised at this strip mall bar. They apparently have been busy enough to acquire a second unit and increase regular table seating as well as something that is a little rare around here - a pool table. This bar obviously has a fair number of regular patrons, I went here to finish the celebration of my son's birthday with some adult beverages. Vodka rocks doesn't warrant rating, but tasted a couple other drinks and they were well made.

The atmosphere is casual, but this is not a dive bar. Clean and well maintained, and courteous staff.

I felt very welcomed, and and had several interesting conversations. I really enjoy pool outside of the house, so I will return.

I used to go Iron Horse a few years back. It used to be slow and dull. Just stopped to have a diet coke and meet with a friend. I couldn't believe how much that place has turned around under new management. They've always had booze and gaming machines. Now, Iron Horse is double the size and has pub games including a billiard table. Oh, and it's an added extra that they've remodeled and have a kitchen.

I have been there to eat 4 times and have had average food. The pizza was acceptable but pulled pork tacos very greasy with cold onion straws. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the place has the makings of a great sports bar. The burgers and fries have always been greasy and nothing special. I will give it one more try for food.
