    Good food with some twists on the usual American fare. Kids love sitting at the train bar and having their food delivered by train. The restaurant is always decorated for the season which is a nice treat. Minus one star for mixing gambling with a family restaurant. I know it's very common in Illinois now, and Windhill hides it better than most, but still a detraction for us.

    My friend and I weren't that hungry when we went there so we ordered biscuits and gravy, bacon and strawberry waffles. I would definitely recommend going there because of the food and the ambiance. I will go back there pretty soon because I wanna try the biscuits and gravy omelet. Like it says on the menu (It’s huge!) ????and I love biscuits and gravy.
    (Update) I went back to Windhill and as I stated above, I ordered the biscuits and gravy omelet. Omg! It was incredible! It was huge but I did finish it ???? my friend was surprised, and the waitress was shocked ????(She said: Oh my God, you finished it. Good job! ) I felt like I was a little kid when told me that but it was funny. Since I love Elvis Presley ????, I decided to take a bunch of pictures of the table.???????? I would recommend going there, you won’t regret it.

    Love me some tasty breakfast food in the morning. Waffles, pancakes, belly buster, omelette, skillet...they're all good. Food comes out fast and hot too. Also, you can't beat the decor around the holidays too. Top notch place.

    last time I came here during the lunch rush on a holiday and I unfairly held that against the restaurant.

    now that I came back and ordered one of their omelets I was blown away by the quality and portion size. I didn't think I could eat that much but I couldn't stop. the hash browns were just the slightest bit sweet which went really well with the hot sauce I like to use them with. best of all was the big variety of veggies in the omelet, such as broccoli and artichoke hearts.

    I'm really glad I got to stop back here for a second try and I'll make sure to stop here whenever I'm in the area
