Benedict's La Strata

The food was absolutely perfect! The staff was very friendly. And it's very cool to see the owner waiting on tables and getting involved with his customer base. Wonderful place to grab some brunch.

Had the pancakes and they were great. Eggs Benedict good but the mozzarella and tomato were too cold. Would have been better if they were closer to room temperature. Good service, very friendly.

My best friend and I wanted to find something new to try. Found this on line looked at the menu. We both said okay let's go. Absolutely amazing. Food was out of this world! I had the pot roast skillet my friend had the seafood frittata. The entire staff was friendly service was quick. We are definitely planning our next trip back.

The restaurant was very full but we waited less than ten minutes for two people to get seated. Great breakfast food and nice servers. I had an omlet that was a special; it was so filling and flavorful. My boyfriend had a skillet and enjoyed it. We loved that our server took the time to put whipped cream and chocolate in our iced coffee, not everyone does that. This is a little, crowded restaurant but I would come back for the food and splendid service again.

By far and away, the VERY BEST breakfast spot in Crystal Lake. There is usually a wait, but believe you me, it is well worth it. The location is cozy. During the summer we love sitting on the patio for brunch. The eggs Benedict are to die for. Just perfect. Perfect.
