Hands down best Latino food in town. Very authentic to what would be had in a Mexican household. Highly recommend, very competitive pricing for very healthy portions.

Whenever I try a new Mexican restaurant the first thing I always order are the tacos al pastor. In my experience if the tacos al pastor don't taste good then the rest of the dishes would more than likely taste the same.
I thought El Rinconcito would go the easy way and use the premade al pastor that they have at the small Mexican market right next door, La Carneceria.
To the surprise of my taste buds El Rinconcito has their very own al pastor recipe that is absolutely delicious.
They gave me three salsas to use for my tacos which were the red salsa that had just the right amount of heat that had my nose running but not so hot that I couldn't enjoy my tacos. The salsa verde or green salsa had a milder heat and was tangy. And the last was the avocado salsa which also had a milder heat but with a creamer taste.
To wash it down I had the Mexican Coke which is made with real pure cane sugar which in my opinion tastes way better than what you can get at everyday grocery stores.
The restaurant is small with seven tables that seat two people and a row of three stools along the wall with a long bar table.
The two women working there were pleasant and very sweet. My arm is in a sling due to shoulder surgery and one of the ladies was nice enough to help pop off the cap to my bottle of coke.
With such delicious tacos I expect that the word will get out and this little hole in the wall will get packed pretty quickly come lunch or dinner time.
Lucky for me, El Rinconcito is just a short walk from my home and I will be taking advantage of that.
Fresh and flavorful ingredients! The service was friendly and fast, and the quality of the ingredients was top notch. We had carne asada tacos with cilantro, onions, lime, cheese and avocado and enjoyed every last bite. We can't wait to come back and try their burritos. There is some seating inside, but not a ton so I wouldn't recommend coming with a big group of people, instead you can do carry out and leave the adorable booths for groups of 2-4. There is also a bar along the window with stools.
On taco Tuesday, the tacos were flavorless, the double taco shells still were falling apart. (Gracie made hers btw). The taco salsa had little flavor and mainly heat. The limes had about 3 drops of lime juice in them. I’ve never seen limes that dry. The salsa that came with the chips and salsa was practically water.
The food here is great! We went here on opening day, I got 3 different tacos (perfect way to try different meats to determine the quality/taste) and my SO got a burrito and a pupusa. Overall we both agreed that the Carne Asada is really good, tastes different than other steak tacos/burritos in this area but that is a good thing. It reminds me of a great taco spot in Chicago which is a compliment! The inside of the restaurant is relatively small so we got food to go and still the quality is up to standards. Fair warning, the parking lot this restaurant is located in is very dark at night so I hope the property owners/city of BLM decide to install overhead lights soon.
