Great atmosphere. Excellent food. Loved the fries. And prices were good. Great dining experience. Will definitely go back!

One of the best restaurants in Leroy. Great place to stop if your passing by on I-74. Right across from Love's truck stop for easy truck parking. Very consistent on food quality and friendly service.

Johnny's bar is great. This is the bar attached to the restaurant. I went in on a slow night as they were closing. They opened up the whole place for just me to have a drink. They were very welcoming, friendly, generous, and all around enjoyable to get to know. I'll absolutely go back next time I'm in the area. Also prices are very fair.

Have dined here several times, most recently for dinner earlier this evening. Every time, the food has been very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My experience tonight backs that up. My server and I had a communication glitch. I thought I had ordered the cod dinner special. The server thought I ordered another fish special. When it came, I explained this to a manager who served our food. He took it right back and came back with the cod. It was delicious. I was very grateful. I highly recommend Jack's Cafe.

Best kept secret on this side of Illinois. If your lucky enough to come across this review, good for you. Like anywhere, the locals dont want you to know about this place, and man, I get it. I'd want to keep it to myself too. BUT, I'm not a local, so I'm gonna let the cat outta the bag! These guys, and gals ate amazing!! Everything is homemade, Lasagna, the best ribs you ever ate, etc..etc.. Specials every night, listen, I'm a truck driver, and I get around, and I try my best to stop here when I can. I have to say it's one of my favorite places to stop and eat, IN THE COUNTRY. Anyway, judge for yourself, it's well worth the visit.
