Medici in Normal

Even though it was the last weekend of ISU, we received a table not too long after arriving. I had the Black & Blue Burger, which was very good. For my side, I ordered sweet potato tots, which were fine, but I had to order a dipping sauce as an extra. I feel that a choice of sauce should be included. My drink was a very nice cider, so lunch was good.

The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and prices were reasonable. The first floor is much more unique than the second floor, so dine downstairs if you get a chance. The terrace is nice if there's room available but it goes fast.

My only complaint is that there are no noise reduction systems in place. No sound panels, carpet, or anything. The place gets loud and echoes badly. Going during non-peak times is advised!

Great beer selection. Awesome atmosphere. Whether you are just looking for a place to toss back a couple cold ones or going out for a nice meal. This is a really great place to go.

This place is definitely worth it. Great customer service, clean cheerful decor, and generous portions. The house salad has quality lettuce and vegetables. I also tried the spinach lasagna and ham and cheese grilled sandwich. It came with fries, and I couldn't eat it all. The margarita was also large and delicious as well, not too sweet. Overall a solid place to eat.

Good food, great service, comfortable booths. Hopping place drawing customers of all ages. Very loud, however. So if volume is a problem for you, this will be challenging.

We tried the BBQ brisket and a large Mediterranean pizza (artisan stone, not pan). Brisket went over great. Pizza was gorgeous, but too bready for me and did not have as much flavor as expected.

Wines we're good. Suited the dishes and us.

Parking was a bear, as always. If walking weren't an issue, it's no biggie. Lots of great shops to stroll by.
