    The food is good but need more than one waitress it takes a long time for service and food.

    We stopped in for breakfast as a spur of the moment while taking the motorcycle out for a spin. Had the country fries steak breakfast, and the western omelet meal. Very good! Good sized portions-could barely finish the chicken fried steak! Casual dining, but looked like there was a larger room for bigger groups/reservations. Only "complaint" was that the place could use a few renovations...some ceiling tiles needed replaced and mini remodel in the bathrooms. (But that takes nothing away from the good food and service!)

    Very nice and clean restaurant! Had the hot beef sandymash which was delicious! It had lots of wonderful brown gravy and plenty of potatoes! It was so good that I ordered a second one to go! The waitress was very nice and service was fairly quick! We will definitely be stopping here again!

    Definitely worth a trip to Aledo IL. The Girls of '68 (Sherrard) have bee meeting there once a month for the last several months and have not been disappointed. The food is like coming home for lunch. Best thing they serve Boetjes!
