Childers Eatery - War Memorial (Grand Prairie)

Breakfast this morning for 16 people including five children under 5yrs was great. Sarah G, our server was amazing and very accommodating to provide drinks, refills, and hot meals promptly to our large group. Service and food was exceptional. We were asked several times throughout the meal by many staff members and the manager if anything was needed. Great teamwork was observed in the lovely and comfortable Eatery. The dining area was spacious so we did not feel crowded at all. Plenty of booths were also available too for dining. We will definitely return.

Food was really good! It was a very pretty place and the staff was lovely! Food was a tad expensive though. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Update: it's the next day and last night both me and my friend felt very very nauseous about an hour afterwards. I felt I was about to puke and that was all both of us ate that day since breakfast. We both got burgers and fries so maybe something wasn't cooked right? Not sure, but for that reason I would give them a 3.5.

Manager Kim was awesome and my server Frances took amazing care of me. Love this place! So happy it’s close to school for a quick lunch. Food is always amazing.

The food was fantastic. The service on the other hand could use a lot of work. We sat down at 10:30am. Our drink orders were taken at 10:45. Drinks were served at 10:50 and orders were taken. Food served at 11:10. In the time it took for all of this to happen we watched 3 other tables orders taken and food served before us. These three tables were also sat after us. The food was fantastic as said before, maybe we will try at a later date for a better experience.

Childers always has amazingly flavored food. The staff always makes me feel like I'm part of the family! Best damn food this side of the river! Go to Childers Eatery today!
